GaKnew is a man of the street of L.A., but he is also, an Author, Music performer, an Activist , Social worker, parent and deep thinker.
Gaknew and touch on all the topics that make him multi threat in the world of Social work. He can reach through so may forms of access.
We began our discussion with getting some background on his childhood. Being from a single parent home he describe how it being raised by is very young mother. He fell in love the music of the streets, rap and Hip-Hop. GaKnew started on the path of becoming a Rap Artist and then found that he was better suited for the world of spoken word and poetry. GaKnew entered into slams and contests to hone hi kraft. As he performed more and more he caught the eye of a social worker who believed he could be a conduit to reach young people struggling out on the streets of L.A. As he learned more and about out reach and activists, he wanted to become one. He found the road was not easy, but he endured and was finally hire to do social work. Helped connect youth to ways to stay out of the system. GaKnew, wanted to help those in the juvenile system. He became an educator and also earned a degree in psychology. GaKnew has written a book entitled "Under the Influence". A tale of about the system and it's pitfalls.

Clint described his life as an action Motor Sports performer. The Ups and downs of building his career in action sports. How he handled the stress of being a performer and Producer. Clint talked about what drew him in as a young boy. We also chatted on how the motorcycle tricks have change of the years, from evil Knievel to now. How how he delt putting his life on the line to make money as a flow junkie. We went into detail about how being Motor action sports performer has helped him with his new phase in his life, as an Stand up comic. I got to catch up with an old fried for this Episode. Matt is an Certified Athletic Trainer. We caught up with the on the families and we discussed what is a Athletic Trainer and what do they do? From there we talked about the route one takes to become an Athletic Trainer. We chatted on why he choose to become one. Next Matt and I talked about the relationships an Athletic Trainer has with their Coaches, Athletes and other staff and why it's important to have those. We chatted about the Procedures of crisis first aid on the field. Matt filled in the blanks of what EAP is and why every Team, School and rec center need to have one. We discussed the people in EAP and their role and Athletic Trainers role as the point person. Again it's about the relationships. We finish with what he is doing now at Tria Orthopedics and what they can offer from the serious athlete to the weekend warrior.

This show 100, when yo count the first couple of attempts best, lost episodes and all the interviews over the years. This is a Milestone I was told by many I wouldn't get to.
I start off with snippet of conversations with former Gopher Willie Burton on rising thru the ranks to the NBA and national broadcaster Anne Montgomery on the effects of sport on youth. Plus Paul Molitor and the struggle for northern college baseball and Chad Daniels about covid becoming a comedy head liner. JD has a wonderful story to tell and we start with his humble beginnings in So. Cal and his love Basketball. We talked about his dream of playing Basketball at U.C. Santa Barbara and fulfilling his dream by signing to play there. We discussed the set backs he suffered as a young college Athlete and how he was able to overcome them. We sidetracked our conversations and talked about the state of college athletics today. JD told me about the young that he meet (Luc Bodden) in Highschool that change his outlook on life to Writing inspiration. JD chatted about his other relationships that inspired the author in him to put pen to paper. JD gave an insight into his 1st and now 2nd book. JD and I finished our conversation with him giving us insight to his Philanthropy. His book are titled (his new Book)“Darling, You’re Not Alone” and (his 1st book) Moon Flower.

Rick and I discussed his start in world hockey. only find out that his grandfather was a childhood hero of mine. His grand father was Bill McCreary of the St. Louis Blues on the NHL 2nd Six expansion team. His love of hockey and his climb up the ranks of youth and Junior hockey. Also, how he was introduce to drugs and the effects on his on a possible career in the pro's. We chatted about being to do both injured and addicted cost him. Where is his bottom was that caused him to look for a change in his life path. Plus, we talked about his other career that did not satisfy him: which lead him to find his calling as a Sports nutritionist. Rick clued us in to the keys to his foundation of daily sober living.

Jeff and I started off our discussion with Jeff telling us about his childhood and his parents. We then I listened as Jeff told me about his time in the Air Force and coming out to gain his degree at Bethel University. The we chatted on the subject of how he began on the road of political service and the people who influenced his runs for political office.
