We then I listened as Jeff told me about his time in the Air Force and coming out to gain his degree at Bethel University. The we chatted on the subject of how he began on the road of political service and the people who influenced his runs for political office. We chopped it up discussing his time in office and some of things he learned while in office.

After I Kept Frank from his Mid-afternoon nap. Frank and I chatted about his in the world of Comedy. The Pain he faced and forgot as a youth of string of suicides in his family. Frank knowing hw wanted to be a comic since the forth grade. Also, how he made through college and partly through a marriage, before his past came flooding back sent spiraling into depression, other health issues and a suicide attempt. To only surviving due to a strange twist of fate. To rebuild his life and comedy life only to have to deal failure again and another unsuccessful attempt to kill himself. Frank takes us on the discovery on how he deals with his mental health issue every day and continue to work in comedy and help other through his talks and books. Lastly Frank tells us what to look from and what to do if someone in your life is struggling and how to help.

As LT and discussed todays topic I found myself being move in a way I didn't expect to be. We discussed his background and he became to someone interested in the subject. What lead him to becoming leader and writer. We talked about what makes a man and how hard it is become one properly without a role model. How LT looks at issue as trauma and the side effect that harm a community. Also, we spoke about overcoming and goal setting to to become successful. Plus the symptom of people pleasing that many of our young into the wrong path life. The Gov, role in the 60's that has damaged so many families in this country. Lastly, the motto LT lives by and his hope will do so also. "You have to let go , to grow"

Karl and I discussed his Gopher career and the rollercoaster steps he had to take to become a Gopher and a starter. We also, talked about his time in the NFL with Broncos. How he began in humble beginnings in MPLS to a Star in the NFL. Karl explained who played key role in his life at every stage. We looked at gave him longevity in the NFL. I was shocked to learn that he is not in the Gopher Sports HOF. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!! Lastly, the wonderful things he is doing with his life since he left the NFL.
