JD has a wonderful story to tell and we start with his humble beginnings in So. Cal and his love Basketball. We talked about his dream of playing Basketball at U.C. Santa Barbara and fulfilling his dream by signing to play there. We discussed the set backs he suffered as a young college Athlete and how he was able to overcome them. We sidetracked our conversations and talked about the state of college athletics today. JD told me about the young that he meet (Luc Bodden) in Highschool that change his outlook on life to Writing inspiration. JD chatted about his other relationships that inspired the author in him to put pen to paper. JD gave an insight into his 1st and now 2nd book. JD and I finished our conversation with him giving us insight to his Philanthropy. His book are titled (his new Book)“Darling, You’re Not Alone” and (his 1st book) Moon Flower.

Plus, what causes most of day to day pain and illness how we are force deal the ways todays medical treatments. We talked about Pharmacogenomic testing and how it could give better picture of what causing your illness and how to better treat it.

His grand father was Bill McCreary of the St. Louis Blues on the NHL 2nd Six expansion team. His love of hockey and his climb up the ranks of youth and Junior hockey. Also, how he was introduce to drugs and the effects on his on a possible career in the pro's. We chatted about being to do both injured and addicted cost him. Where is his bottom was that caused him to look for a change in his life path. Plus, we talked about his other career that did not satisfy him: which lead him to find his calling as a Sports nutritionist. Rick clued us in to the keys to his foundation of daily sober living.

After I Kept Frank from his Mid-afternoon nap. Frank and I chatted about his in the world of Comedy. The Pain he faced and forgot as a youth of string of suicides in his family. Frank knowing hw wanted to be a comic since the forth grade. Also, how he made through college and partly through a marriage, before his past came flooding back sent spiraling into depression, other health issues and a suicide attempt. To only surviving due to a strange twist of fate. To rebuild his life and comedy life only to have to deal failure again and another unsuccessful attempt to kill himself. Frank takes us on the discovery on how he deals with his mental health issue every day and continue to work in comedy and help other through his talks and books. Lastly Frank tells us what to look from and what to do if someone in your life is struggling and how to help.
