The inability of the leaders to say no to those who they need to is bursting budgets all the country in college sports.
Tampering enforcement is causing the conference leader to fight over more items. Should the NCAA enforcement of roster tampering is hot topic. One conference wants to pause enforcement and some want to continue forward and prosecute they offending schools and one conference is talking out both sides of their mouth. Find out which conference is say what and why.
They claim that budgets are out of control. Some schools are handling in a way that they promised to that not to do. I tell you promise you what promise isn't kept.
Speaking of budget busting, what two letter word is not being said by Presidents, A.D.'s and Coaches and why not saying that is costing them billions of dollars in total in college sports. Agents, player reps and players abilities to always get the leaders to say a three letter words. If this is big business way is is it so had to say the two letter word that leads to control. Control of budgets, people, school athletic depts and conferences.
Lastly, a racial issue with a deeper dive into why it's happening around the country at the Power 4 level of college basketball at this time of year. It's shameful at a glance and mis-leading on another level.

I once again sit down with my friend Pete Narjaian, former MPLS Central High, Minnesota Gopher football star and NFL Player. Pete and I first break the news that Lou Holtz is in hospice care. We discuss the impact he had on both of our lives and others. We moved on to the magic that U. of Indiana performed by winning a national championship at the highest level of CFB and why it's a story for the ages and why it gives all schools like Indiana hope to become more successful in these time of NIL, Rev share and the transfer portal.
Pete continues to have interest and interviews with college teams about the position of general manager. He also shared his thoughts of what lead to bloody Friday in Minnesota. As the Vikings and Twins bot parted ways with there GM's on the same day. I asked him about interest at the Pro Level and his answer and thoughts may interest you. Pete threw his thoughts on the direction and lack of leadership in college sports. We touched on the Darrian Mensah, Duke v. Miami situation and how it was resolved.
After Pete left the show I wrapped things up on the control of CFP. The changes and non-changes.

It is National championship eve. Miami v. Indiana for the national title. I have to spend time on the latest news on the Game fixing going on in college basketball. Wondering why you haven't heard much about? I tell you why in this episode. Why does this keep happening?, Who is the blame?, Why will it keep happening?
For a short time I discuss the national title game, but if you know me , it's not in the way you are usually that you hear it discussed. I put my own spin on it and of course I do not pick a winner.
The main focus of this episode is why CFB can not get out it's way. I talk about the possible changes to the CFP, but also why the B1G is digging their heel in and possible causes behind the future direction of the CFP. Who is behind the B1G leaders pushing for 24 team playoff and who is pushing the 16 team playoff. In a Scooby Doo style reveal, I tell you the people behind the mask pushing the two conferences.
I finish with a chat on what's going with all the whining by the SEC about governance of college sports and mostly CFB. There is a lot of chatter on Why conference and schools have not signed off on College Sports Commission agreement? Are the schools up to their old tricks of using CSC as a meat shield as they did with NCAA? What will it take for College leaders to get their collective act together? The leaders of major conferences and Notre Dame are feeling the pressure and are acting towards one another as they fight for dollars and prestige. A verbal battle has broken out between Notre Dame and their business , but not conference partner the ACC. They have working relationship that has become very tense the announcement of the 12 team College Football bracket was revealed to the world. Norte Dame making accusations, the ACC claiming they were only looking out for the conference best interest. Then out of nowhere the commissioner of the Big Xll came off the top rope with a vicious elbow to Notre Dame's Pride. There behavior is not collegiate or exemplary.
As I tried wrap things up B1G news from the a school in the B1G. As one of the members had drop a bomb in the middle coaching search carousal time. Again, one's behavior off the field is going to not derail if not crash a promising career, but cost many innocent people to the unemployment line.
